The blend pairs classic juniper with a set of Japanese signatures: yuzu for citrus, sansho pepper for its bright tingle, and cherry blossom for a delicate floral note. The aim is a gin that captures something of Japan's restraint and balance.
The nose lifts with fresh yuzu over fine juniper and a floral elegance. The palate is complex and even, lively juniper and citrus meeting the gentle heat of sansho pepper and the soft scent of sakura.
