    Mombasa Club London Dry Gin

    700 ml / 41.5%
    London Dry

    $38

A muscular, spice-led London Dry: clear juniper, peppery coriander and a bright wash of citrus that keeps it lively. Made at London’s Thames Distillers and named for the colonial-era Mombasa Club in Kenya, it carries a whiff of old-world adventure. Powerful, peppery and made for a properly bitter tonic.

Named after the legendary Mombasa Club, a colonial gathering place on the Kenyan coast, this London Dry trades on old-empire romance while keeping its feet firmly in the present. It is distilled at London's Thames Distillers from a botanical mix that pairs the gin essentials with warmer, more exotic spice. The result leans muscular rather than delicate, a gin with a bit of swagger and a clear sense of place.

The nose opens on a powerful juniper note, coriander spice and a hint of citrus fruit close behind. The palate is strong and spicy, juniper meeting a striking lick of black pepper and fresh lemon and orange, before a long finish carrying citrus and a peppery bite. Built for a classic gin and tonic with a slightly bitter tonic water, or the backbone of a robust Negroni.
