Mirabeau Dry Gin Rose draws its botanicals from herbs and spices grown on the Maison Mirabeau vineyard in Provence. Juniper sits at the base, joined by citrus and coriander, and the whole thing is made without added sugar, so its light pink colour is a matter of style rather than syrup. The bottle nods to nearby Grasse, France's perfume capital, with a shape borrowed from a scent flacon.
The nose is floral and fragrant with herbs, juniper and citrus fruit; the palate turns creamy and floral with a strong herbal thread running through. The finish lingers. Pour it long over ice with tonic and a sprig of rosemary to lift its Provençal herbs.
