Adelphi, the esteemed independent revived in the 1990s. This Limited 33 Year Old is a 1983 vintage matured across American oak and Oloroso, cask 7450, an outturn of 158 bottles. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside distilled where Pluscarden Abbey's old meal mill once stood, long a heart of Ballantine's.
Thirty-three years across American oak and Oloroso matured the floral spirit, the bourbon oak lending vanilla and the sherry dried fruit.
At 52.6% it shows a cooked-mash depth over mature fruit and vanilla, undiluted. A 1983 single cask 33.
