Sestante, the storied Italian bottler. This 22 Year Old is a 1966 vintage Miltonduff matured in Oloroso, bottled in 1988. Miltonduff, a light, floral Speyside from near Elgin, its spirit long destined for the Ballantine's blend.
Twenty-two years in Oloroso built deep sherried maturity, melanoidins and decades of oxidation giving dried fruit, leather and a nutty, polished oak.
At 43% it shows deep sherried dried fruit over the floral body. A 1966 Sestante 22.
