Description
Moon-Import releases this 20 Year Old as Horae Solaris, a 1978 vintage matured in Oloroso, 720 bottles filled. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside distilled where Pluscarden Abbey's old meal mill once stood, long a heart of Ballantine's.
Twenty years in Oloroso deepened the soft, floral character into figgy, baked dried fruit, oxidation and ellagitannin structure adding a polished-oak grip.
At 53% it shows deep sherried dried fruit over the floral body, undiluted. A Horae Solaris 20.
