Description

Kirsch Import bottles this 17 Year Old in its Simply Good Whisky range, a 2006 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask KI-2. Miltonduff, the fresh, floral Speyside distilled beside Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin and long bound for the Ballantine's blend.

Seventeen years in ex-Bourbon brought maturity, the low-tannin oak now a frame for baked fruit, light spice and a waxy thread in the light, floral spirit.

At 52.9% it shows mature apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A Simply Good Whisky 17.
