Description
Hart Brothers has bottled single casks from Glasgow since the 1960s. This Single Cask 16 Year Old is a 2007 vintage in ex-Bourbon at cask strength. Miltonduff, the sweet, grassy Speyside raised on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey and known as a Ballantine's workhorse.
Sixteen years in ex-Bourbon let oxidation gain weight, baked orchard fruit and richer toffee building over the grassy, floral make with a waxy edge.
At 54.2% it shows apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A single cask 16.
