Description
Hart Brothers has bottled single casks from Glasgow since the 1960s. This Single Cask 14 Year Old is a 2007 vintage matured in a Marsala cask. Miltonduff, the delicate Speyside drawn from the abbey-blessed Black Burn and long bound for Ballantine's.
Fourteen years in Marsala gave the floral spirit caramelised brown sugar and dried fruit from the fortified wine.
At 49.5% it shows dried and fresh fruit, a nutty note and vanilla, undiluted. A Marsala single cask 14.
