The Single Cask bottles this 14 Year Old in its Family Series, a 2007 vintage matured in Pedro Ximenez, cask 900350, 269 bottles filled. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside malt distilled near Pluscarden Abbey and long destined for Ballantine's.
Fourteen years in Pedro Ximenez loaded the soft, floral character with the sweetest sherry, residual sugars and melanoidins giving raisin, date and treacle.
At 59% it shows dark PX raisin and date over the floral body, undiluted. A Family Series 14.
