The Single Cask bottles this 13 Year Old, a 2008 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 700988, an outturn of 212. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside malt distilled near Pluscarden Abbey and long destined for Ballantine's.
Thirteen years in ex-Bourbon settled the floral spirit, honey and vanilla knitting with apple and pear as slow oxidation began its work.
At 57.3% it shows apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A single cask 13.
