Hart Brothers has bottled single casks from Glasgow since the 1960s. This Single Cask 11 Year Old is a 2009 vintage in ex-Bourbon at cask strength. Miltonduff, the delicate Speyside drawn from the abbey-blessed Black Burn and long bound for Ballantine's.
Across eleven years in American oak the tannins softened and esterification got underway, vanilla and light fudge rounding the light, floral spirit.
At 54.7% it shows a faint smoke over apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A single cask 11.
