Description

3006 Whisky, a Dutch independent, bottles this 10 Year Old, a 2008 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 989, 163 bottles filled. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside malt distilled near Pluscarden Abbey and long destined for Ballantine's.

Ten years in a bourbon barrel brought balance, lignin-derived vanilla and a growing fruity-ester sweetness folding into the sweet, floral distillate.

At 58.2% it shows apple, pear and vanilla, undiluted. A 3006 Whisky 10.
