Description
The Secret Treasures bottles this 10 Year Old in its Single Cask Collection, a 2007 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 380, an outturn of 308. Miltonduff, a light, floral Speyside from near Elgin, its spirit long destined for the Ballantine's blend.
Ten years in a bourbon barrel brought balance, lignin-derived vanilla and a growing fruity-ester sweetness folding into the sweet, floral distillate.
At 46% it shows chocolate, malt extract and vanilla over the floral body. A Secret Treasures 10.
