Description
Hart Brothers has bottled single casks from Glasgow since the 1960s. This Finest Collection 10 Year Old is a 1989 vintage matured in Oloroso. Miltonduff, the floral Speyside malt distilled near Pluscarden Abbey and long destined for Ballantine's.
Across ten years the Oloroso butt loaded the sweet, floral distillate with dried fruit and a nutty edge, melanoidins over a still-fresh core.
At 43% it shows a sherried character, chocolate, fresh fruit, malt extract, nuts and an oily texture. A Finest 10.
