Meteoriten Gin Luna Portum Distilled Dry Gin

Meteoriten Gin comes from the Nordlinger Ries in Germany, the country's largest meteorite crater and, decades ago, a training ground for NASA's lunar astronauts because its geology echoes the moon's. The distillers lean fully into that story. The aromatic heart is meteorite juniper that grows wild across the crater, hand-picked, and this Luna Portum edition adds rare floral botanicals whose essential oils give the gin its gentle, velvety texture. At 46.9% it stays surprisingly mild.

The nose is citrus-fresh, floral and spicy with a subtle earthiness; the palate is juniper-accented with a resinous, fruity depth, floral nuances and that soft, velvety feel. The finish is dry, aromatic and long, with elegant tartness and warm herbal spice. Serve it neat at room temperature, or build a gin and tonic with a floral tonic and a curl of lemon peel or a lavender sprig.
