Mayaciel Tequila Rosa Blanco Generation Next is a 100% Blue Weber tequila built on a blanco that is given a short rest in Mexican red wine casks, the source of its rosy tint and its dark fruit character. At 44% it carries more weight and depth than many blancos, and the wine cask angle makes it a more creative reading of the style.

The agave is selected mature, between six and eight years old, and fermentation runs on natural yeast drawn from the air, with clear spring water filtered through volcanic rock. The brief wine cask contact is the defining move: the nose and palate are marked by dark berries and a natural dryness, carried by the fruity notes of the agave underneath. A blanco at heart, reshaped by the red wine wood rather than by long oak ageing.
