Masahiro Kaijin is a blended whisky from the Masahiro distillery in Itoman, Okinawa, an island prefecture long established as Japan's awamori heartland. The house, best known for its awamori production, draws on that fermentation heritage in its whisky output, and the Kaijin release is a no age statement blend bottled at 40% for the Polish market.

Maturation in Ex-Bourbon casks in the subtropical Okinawan climate accelerates wood interaction, coaxing colour and oak character quickly and lending the spirit a light tropical fruit sweetness alongside soft vanilla.
