Marzadro Crema Alpina Pistacchio

Marzadro Crema Alpina Pistacchio is a cream liqueur from Distilleria Marzadro, the grappa distillery in the Trentino valleys. It folds fresh Trentino milk into a creamy emulsion flavoured with pistachio and bottled at a gentle 17%, an Alpine expression of the cream liqueur built on the house dairy and its distilling background. The pairing of velvety cream and sweet pistachio is the signature, smooth and gently roasted.

The nose is mild and aromatic with clear pistachio, fine cream and a sweet nuttiness, the palate soft and balanced with velvety cream, sweet pistachio and a subtle hint of vanilla, finishing mild and pleasantly sweet with a nutty aftertaste. Behind the bar it adds dairy richness, nut flavour and sweetness, which makes it a natural alongside espresso, in a nutty dessert cocktail or simply over ice. It also works as a digestif and a base for ice cream and patisserie. Serve it well chilled, neat or on the rocks, and treat it as a dairy product once opened, keeping it cool and using it reasonably fresh.
