Martin Miller’s Gin

Since 1999 Martin Miller's has been one of the most thoughtful modern takes on the London Dry, made in England with a couple of distinctive quirks. The earthy botanicals, juniper and coriander among them, are distilled separately from the citrus ingredients, a split that lends the spirit unusual clarity and depth. For the final blend the distillery ships in pure glacier water from Iceland, which gives the gin its hallmark softness and freshness.

The nose is fresh citrus with juniper, floral nuances and a fine spice. The palate is smooth and lightly sweet, classic juniper alongside citrus flavours and a hint of pepper, the finish clean and refreshing with subtle herbs and spice. It is a natural in a Martini or Negroni, but a high-quality Indian or Mediterranean tonic shows its elegance best, with a simple citrus twist.
