Mars The Y.A.

Mars The Y.A. 2025 is a no age statement blended malt from Hombo Shuzo, vatting spirit from Tsunuki in Kagoshima and Mars Shinshu in Nagano and bottled at cask strength for the global market. The Y.A. range is the annual cask strength flagship of the Hombo Shuzo blended malt programme, with each vintage reflecting the state of the two distilleries' maturing stocks at the time of selection.

Maturation is in Ex-Bourbon casks across both sites, and at 50% the spirit sits at the approachable end of cask strength. Where specific flavour data is not available for this 2025 release, the typical Y.A. character shows tropical warmth and vanilla sweetness from Tsunuki's humid southern conditions, layered with the crisper, cleaner mountain register of Mars Shinshu in the Central Alps. The global release format means it is available through international specialist retailers.
