Mari Mayans Hierbas Ibicencas

Mari Mayans Hierbas Ibicencas is a refreshing herbal liqueur from the Mari Mayans distillery on the Balearic island of Ibiza, bottled at 26%. It is built on a recipe of carefully selected herbs such as rosemary, aniseed, mint and thyme, macerated in a gentle sugar solution to create an intense but balanced flavour, and it is an integral part of traditional Ibiza culture, enjoyed both as an aperitif and a digestif.

The nose is a refreshing combination of fresh herbs, citrus fruits and a subtle aniseed note, the palate smooth and balanced with rosemary, mint and thyme over a pleasant lemon freshness and a hint of aniseed, finishing long and refreshing with a gently unfolding herbal character. Behind the bar it works as a fresh, herbal modifier with an aniseed and citrus lift, suited to herbal cocktails and a Hierbas Tonic. Serve it neat, over ice or as an aperitif before a meal in the Ibizan style.
