Mari Mayans Hierbas Edición Especial

Hierbas Ibicencas is the traditional herbal liqueur of Ibiza, and Mari Mayans is one of its best known makers. This special edition macerates a blend of local Mediterranean herbs, led by anise and fennel, with a fresh citrus note, and is bottled at 38%, in the long Ibizan tradition of home steeped hierbas.

The nose is fresh and herbal with a delicate citrus lift, the palate smooth and balanced with aniseed, garrigue herbs and a pleasant sweetness. Behind the bar it brings sweet, anise led herbal complexity: the Ibizan way is to serve it well chilled or over ice as a digestif, but it also works as a herbal modifier in a spritz, a sour or an anise forward cocktail. A splash lengthens beautifully with tonic.
