Malibu Strawberry Liqueur

Malibu is a Caribbean rum based liqueur with origins in Barbados, and this Strawberry edition, developed in Spain, joins its rum base to the sweet and sour freshness of ripe strawberries alongside the brand's signature coconut. Bottled at 18%, it is a fruit forward, summery liqueur made to read sweet and refreshing in the glass and to work neat or across mixed drinks.

The nose is fresh and fruity with ripe strawberries, the palate fresh and fruity with strawberry over the rum and coconut base, finishing long on the palate. Behind the bar it brings strawberry and coconut flavour, sweetness and a fruity colour, which makes it a quick base for fruity summer serves. It carries a Strawberry Colada, a Strawberry Daiquiri or a Strawberry Mojito, and lengthens easily with lemonade or soda. Pour it neat over ice for a simple fruity serve, or use it to sweeten and colour a tropical long drink.
