Malfy Gin Con Limone

Malfy Con Limone is made at Torino Distillati in Moncalieri, just outside Turin, and built around the Italian love of citrus. Italian juniper, coriander, angelica root and lemon peel form the base, but the signature comes from hand-picked lemons of the Amalfi Coast and Sicily, with soft Italian highland water rounding the spirit to a clean 41%.

The nose is fresh and lively, lemon peel and juniper lifted by a hint of herbs. The palate is smooth and balanced, fruity lemon freshness playing against the classic gin botanicals while the juniper stays present and grounding; the finish is long and refreshing, the citrus trailed by a subtle spicy warmth. Serve it with Mediterranean tonic and a lemon twist for the obvious, very good answer, or build it into a sparkling gin fizz.
