L'Arrangé Francais is Maison Tristan's take on the rhum arrangé tradition, where rum is steeped with fruit and spice to make a sweet, infused drink rather than an aged sipping spirit. This bottling pairs Victoria pineapple with bourbon vanilla, two flavours that lean naturally sweet and tropical. At 30% it is soft and low in strength, very much a flavoured, sweetened pour to serve chilled as an aperitif or after dinner treat. Expect ripe pineapple and rounded vanilla over a gentle rum base, easy and dessert like, honest about being an infusion rather than a dry rum.
