Maison La Mauny is a heritage Martinique distillery dating to 1749 and one of the island's largest, based at Riviere-Pilote. This Edition Limonadier rhum vieux agricole draws on a 2000 vintage, made under the protected AOC from fresh pressed sugar cane juice.
Distilled in the cane juice tradition and aged in oak, a Martinique vieux at this proof should show the grassy cane core deepened by barrel time into vanilla, baking spice and toasted oak.
