Description
Maison La Mauny is a heritage Martinique distillery dating to 1749 and one of the island's largest, at Riviere-Pilote. This Blanc Edition Limonadier carries a 2000 vintage, made under the protected AOC from fresh pressed sugar cane juice with no added sugar.
A Martinique blanc is built on freshness and snap, distilled from fresh cane juice and rested rather than aged. Expect the hallmarks of the style, grassy and herbaceous with fresh cut lawn, green olive, briny salinity and white pepper, dry rather than sweet. Bottled at a forthright 50%, it is a classic base for a Ti Punch.
