Maestoso comes from a small Viennese manufactory devoted to artisanal distillation, working in traditional copper pot stills. It reads as a tribute to classic gin-making with a city's worth of elegance folded in: juniper and coriander at the core, then carefully chosen citrus and a few subtle floral accents to keep things lively without tipping into perfume.
The nose opens on fresh juniper, a quiet ripple of citrus and soft floral hints. The palate is properly dry, with juniper, lemon and fine herbs trading places in good balance, and the finish is gentle and medium-length, closing on refreshing citrus and herbs. Pour it into a dry tonic with a twist of lemon zest, or let it carry a Negroni or a Gin Basil Smash.
