Wildly floral and faintly coastal: rose petals, lemon balm and lime blossom open soft and sweet, with juniper and Scots pine giving resinous spine. There’s even sea lettuce in the bill, a foraged Hebridean seaweed. Every botanical is hand-gathered on Jura, and you can almost taste the island in it.

Description
Lussa is made on the Isle of Jura off Scotland's west coast by three women, Claire Fletcher, Georgina Kitchin and Alicia MacInnes, who forage all fifteen botanicals by hand on the island and its shores. The bill is a hedgerow in a bottle: lemon thyme, rose petals, lemon balm, lime blossom, elderflower, honeysuckle, water mint, Scots pine and even Ulva, the sea lettuce that gives a faint coastal note. Each bottle is distilled and finished by hand.
The nose is floral and fruity, lemon and juniper lifted by resinous Scots pine. The palate is soft and sweet with rose petals, lemon balm, lime blossom and elderflower, fresh throughout and long on the finish. Build a delicate G&T with a light tonic and a sprig of mint, letting the floral botanicals breathe.
