Lupita Red Hibiscus Tequila Likör

Lupita Red Hibiscus is a ready to drink liqueur cocktail produced in small batches by hand in Hamburg, built on a 100 percent agave tequila base infused with Mexican hibiscus flowers. This is the 500 ml bottle. It was created by Betty Kupsa, who runs the Chug Club, a tequila focused cocktail bar with a Mexican theme, and the drink has built a steady following well beyond the city.

The agave tequila base reads clearly on the palate without overwhelming, layered with infused hibiscus for a tart, floral edge, then lifted by orange liqueur and a little lemon. The character is fruity, sweet and sour, modern and mild, bottled at 20 percent with no colourings or other additives. It is made for easy drinking, served over ice or chilled in a frosted glass as a summery margarita in a bottle.
