Longueteau Cuvee Solidaire 2019 comes from the oldest family-owned agricole distillery still running in Guadeloupe, working from cane grown on the estate at Sainte-Marie. Like all true agricole it starts from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice rather than molasses, distilled low on a creole column to keep the green, vegetal character of the cane in the spirit.

A 2019 vintage bottled at 50%, it sits in the dry, grass-forward register that defines the style. Expect the fresh-cut cane and white pepper snap of a young Guadeloupe agricole rather than sweetness, the kind of pour that works straight or built into a Ti Punch.
