Description
Longueteau, established in 1895, is the oldest family owned agricole distillery still operating in Guadeloupe, and Concerto is one of its aged expressions. This Batch 9 is made from fresh pressed sugar cane juice rather than molasses and bottled at cask strength, 48.4%.
Expect the agricole signature carried at a higher proof, a grassy, herbaceous core gaining vanilla, light baking spice and toasted oak through cask ageing, drier and more spice led than a sweet molasses rum. A drop of water relaxes the strength and lets the fresh cane and oak settle.
