Longueteau, founded in 1895, is the oldest family owned agricole distillery still running on Guadeloupe, working entirely from fresh pressed sugar cane juice. Concerto is a single cask release aged six years in ex-bourbon oak.
Distilled in the cane juice tradition and matured under tropical conditions, six years here carries real weight. Expect the grassy, peppery character of Guadeloupe agricole given structure by the barrel, vanilla and toasted oak rounding out the dry cane core. Bottled at cask strength from a single cask, the 50.1% proof keeps the fresh cane snap front and centre.
