Bright and oily, Longueteau Blanc 50 from Guadeloupe pours fresh sugar-cane, orange and citrus over a full-bodied, peppery frame, an unaged cane-juice rhum bottled at a robust 50% that excels in a Ti’ Punch.
Description
Longueteau is the oldest family-owned agricole distillery still running in Guadeloupe, dating to 1895, and Blanc 50 is its benchmark white. Distilled from fresh sugar-cane juice and bottled unaged at 50%, it is built to deliver the estate's cane character with real presence, within Guadeloupe's IGP framework.
The profile is classic fresh agricole with weight behind it: bright sugar-cane and citrus on the nose, a full-bodied, oily palate of orange and cane, and a warm, peppery, faintly sweet finish. At 50% it carries enough intensity to hold its own neat while staying balanced and approachable. Widely regarded as one of the strong performers in the 50% Guadeloupe white category, it is a natural choice for a Ti' Punch where its cane and citrus shine.
