A.D. Rattray traces its name to a firm established in 1868, releasing single casks in its Individual Cask Release range. This 8 Year Old is a 2013 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 2709, an outturn of 241 bottles.
Eight years in ex-Bourbon leave the young spirit bright, the cask giving vanilla and a faint coconut through its oak lactones.
At 62.9% it shows vivid young orchard fruit and vanilla over Longmorn's body, undiluted. An Individual Cask Release 8.
