Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin house founded in 1895, held some of the deepest Longmorn stocks of any bottler. This 39 Year Old is a 1972 vintage Oloroso single cask, number 1090, from G&M's deep Longmorn stocks.
Thirty-nine years in Oloroso built deep sherried maturity, the cask's melanoidins giving dried fruit.
At 45% it shows profound dried fruit over Longmorn's worn richness. A 1972 single cask.
