Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin house founded in 1895, held some of the deepest Longmorn stocks of any bottler. This Cask Strength 30 Year Old is a 1973 vintage from Oloroso cask 3240, bottled undiluted for Italy.
Thirty years in Oloroso built deep sherried maturity, the cask's melanoidins giving date and raisin, full strength keeping it vivid.
At 55.8% it shows powerful dried fruit over Longmorn's rich body, undiluted. A 1973 cask strength.
