Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin house founded in 1895, held some of the deepest Longmorn stocks of any bottler. This Licensed Bottling 25 Year Old, bottled in 1995, is an older mature expression of the rich spirit.
Twenty-five years in ex-Bourbon matured the weighty make, the angel's share easing it to 40% over the decades.
At 40% it shows soft, deep mature fruit over Longmorn's richness. A G&M licensed 25.
