From Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection, this Symington's Choice 19 Year Old is a 2005 vintage from Oloroso cask 18070, an outturn of 619 bottles at a powerful strength.
Nineteen years in Oloroso built deep sherried maturity, the cask's melanoidins giving dried fruit and its tannins a leathery grip.
At 62.6% it shows a sherried character, chocolate, an oily texture, dried fruit and leather, undiluted. A Symington's Choice 19.
