Description
From Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since 1948's Old Particular range, this 18 Year Old is a 1994 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask DL 10051, an outturn of 322 bottles.
Eighteen years in ex-Bourbon matured the rich spirit, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla and a light toffee.
At 48.4% it shows ripe orchard fruit and vanilla over Longmorn's body, undiluted. An Old Particular 18.
