From Van Wees, the Dutch house behind The Ultimate range, this Cask Strength 17 Year Old is a 1996 vintage from Oloroso cask 72319, an outturn of 600 bottles.

Seventeen years in Oloroso built deep sherried maturity, the cask's melanoidins giving dried fruit.

At 57.2% it shows citrus, chocolate, dried fruit, a malty note, old wood and a sherried character, undiluted. An Ultimate 17.
