From Adelphi, the esteemed independent revived in the 1990s, this 17 Year Old is a 1992 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 48430, an outturn of 186 bottles, sibling to cask 48431.
Seventeen years in ex-Bourbon worked the rich spirit, the cask's lignin breaking down to vanillin for a clear vanilla note.
At 53.9% it shows stone and orchard fruit and vanilla over Longmorn's body, undiluted. An Adelphi 17.
