Gordon & MacPhail of Elgin, founded 1895, long held some of the deepest Longmorn reserves. This Distillery Labels 15 Year Old is a 2008 vintage Longmorn in ex-Bourbon, in G&M's revived old labels.
Fifteen years in ex-Bourbon framed the Longmorn make, the low-tannin American oak lending vanilla through lignin breakdown and a little old-wood depth.
At 46% it shows fresh fruit, old wood and vanilla over Longmorn's rich body. A Distillery Labels 15.
