Description
Gordon & MacPhail, founded in Elgin in 1895, kept some of the deepest Longmorn stocks anywhere. This Distillery Labels 15 Year Old is a 2005 vintage Longmorn in ex-Bourbon, dressed in G&M's revived old labels.
Fifteen years in ex-Bourbon framed the weighty make, the cask giving vanilla and a faint coconut through its oak lactones.
At 46% it shows a leafy freshness over Longmorn's rich orchard fruit and vanilla. A Distillery Labels 15.
