Description
Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin house founded in 1895, held some of the deepest Longmorn stocks of any bottler. This Licensed Bottling 14 Year Old is a 2002 vintage Longmorn in ex-Bourbon, an everyday window on the rich spirit.
Fourteen years in ex-Bourbon framed the weighty make, the bourbon oak lending vanilla and a creamy texture.
At 43% it shows leather, an oily texture, tobacco, cooked fruit and honey over Longmorn's body. A 2002 Licensed Bottling.
