From Lady of the Glen's Rare Cask range, this 13 Year Old is a 2011 vintage matured in Pedro Ximenez, cask 1721, an outturn of 297 bottles.
Thirteen years in PX load the rich spirit with raisiny sweetness, the cask's residual sugars and melanoidins giving date and raisin.
At 58.2% it shows chocolate, dried fruit, a nutty note and a sweaty depth over Longmorn's body, undiluted. A PX Rare Cask 13.
