Gordon & MacPhail, founded in Elgin in 1895, kept some of the deepest Longmorn stocks anywhere. This Licensed Bottling 12 Year Old, at the slightly higher 43%, shows the rich Speyside spirit in its everyday form.
Twelve years in ex-Bourbon lent vanilla through the low-tannin oak over Longmorn's weighty body.
At 43% it shows orchard fruit, honey and vanilla, the classic young Longmorn. A G&M licensed 12.
