Description
Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin house founded in 1895, held some of the deepest Longmorn stocks of any bottler, and these Licensed Bottlings were long the main way to taste it as a single malt. A 12 year old of the rich Speyside spirit.
Twelve years in ex-Bourbon framed Longmorn's weighty make, the low-tannin American oak lending vanilla through lignin breakdown.
At 40% it shows the gentle, fruity Speyside character of a young Longmorn. A G&M licensed 12.
