Blackadder, known for its Raw Cask bottlings drawn straight from the barrel with sediment intact, releases this 10 Year Old, a 1999 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 4569, an outturn of 302 bottles.
Ten years in ex-Bourbon left the young spirit bright, the American oak lending clean vanilla and a creamy weight, the unfiltered cask keeping every bit of character.
At a powerful 62% it shows vivid young ripe orchard fruit and vanilla over Longmorn's body, undiluted. A Raw Cask 10.
